Generac - Slowdown in new projects and internal transfers?

Hey everyone. Been with Generac for a few years now, mostly in engineering. Lately, it feels like there's been a noticeable slowdown in the initiation of new projects across a few departments I interact with. Also, the usual internal transfer postings seem to be fewer and far between. Usually, there's a constant churn of people moving around or new initiatives kicking off, but it's been pretty quiet on that front for a while. Anyone else in other areas seeing something similar? Is it just a seasonal lull, or is this a sign of something else going on? It's making me a little antsy, not gonna lie. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just observing a pocket of inactivity. Curious to hear what others are experiencing.

I've definitely noticed a similar trend in my department. It feels like budgets might be tighter, leading to fewer new projects being greenlit. The internal transfer situation is also a bit stagnant, which could be a sign that the company is prioritizing existing roles or perhaps undergoing some restructuring behind the scenes. It's hard to say for sure without more direct information, but the quietness is palpable.

From my perspective in operations, there's been a noticeable shift towards optimizing existing processes rather than launching entirely new ones. This could explain the perceived slowdown in new project initiation. Regarding internal transfers, it's possible that roles are being consolidated or that hiring freezes are in place for certain positions. It does seem like things are a bit more conservative lately, focusing on efficiency and stability.
