Been noticing a strange lack of communication from leadership regarding future staffing needs and plans at Generac. Usually, around this time of year, there's some buzz about upcoming projects and how teams will be structured. However, lately, it's been radio silence. Open roles seem to be lingering, and there's a general sense of uncertainty about headcount for the next quarter. I've heard some talk about 'streamlining operations' and 'optimizing resources,' which are always vague terms. I'm not seeing any official announcements, but the lack of hiring and the increased workload on existing employees is definitely raising some eyebrows. Wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger, or if it's just a temporary holding pattern. Anyone else picking up on this quietness and what do you think it means?

I've been feeling the same way. It's definitely quieter than usual, and those 'streamlining' buzzwords are making me a bit nervous. It's hard to plan your own career or even just your workload when you don't know what the team structure will look like in a few months. Hoping for some clarity soon, but until then, I'm just trying to stay focused on my current projects and be as adaptable as possible.

Yeah, the silence is a bit unsettling. I've also noticed some key positions staying open for longer than I'd expect.
