Generac: Anyone else's team shrinking or workload doubling?

Hey everyone, been working at Generac for a bit now, specifically in the industrial side. Lately, it feels like there's been a constant shuffling of responsibilities and project scope creep, but without any official announcements about layoffs. Some teams seem smaller than they used to be, and others are definitely carrying a heavier load. Management keeps talking about 'optimizing resources' and 'strategic realignment,' which sounds a lot like corporate speak for something else. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just my department, or is this a broader trend across Generac Industrials? Trying to get a sense of what's actually going on versus just rumors. Any insights or observations would be appreciated.

I've definitely seen some similar trends on my team. It feels like we're expected to do more with less, and the 'strategic realignment' talk is making everyone nervous. It's tough when you're not sure what's coming next or if your role is secure. Hopefully, things will become clearer soon and management can provide some transparency about these changes. It's impacting morale significantly.

Yeah, that 'optimizing resources' jargon is pretty common, unfortunately. We've had a few people leave on the engineering side, and the remaining folks are definitely stretched thin. It's a balancing act, trying to keep up with the increased demands while also managing the uncertainty. Wondering if this is a company-wide thing or just isolated incidents. It would be good to get a clearer picture.
