I caught parts of that call and the language definitely felt a bit more cautious than previous quarters. 'Macroeconomic headwinds' is corporate speak for 'things are slowing down.' The 'inventory adjustments' could mean they're sitting on more product than they can sell, which isn't a great sign. I'm watching closely to see if this translates into slower order books for their suppliers.
Interesting observations. As someone who's been tracking Generac for a while, those phrases did stick out. It's easy to dismiss them as standard corporate jargon, but given the current economic climate, it's wise to be paying attention. The 'nervous energy' you mentioned in your industry is a real indicator that things might be shifting, and that can definitely impact companies like Generac.
