GD - Feeling the pressure on resource allocation lately?

Just started noticing a trend over the past couple of months. It feels like we're being asked to staff up projects with fewer people than usual, or the same team is being asked to cover multiple initiatives. Has anyone else experienced this? It's not a formal layoff announcement, but the workload feels significantly heavier, and it's starting to impact timelines and quality. Wondering if this is a company-wide thing or just specific to my division. Trying to figure out if management is just being optimistic about our capacity or if there's an underlying strategy here. Anyone else seeing this squeeze?

Yeah, I've been seeing something similar. It's like the goalposts are constantly moving, and we're expected to hit them with fewer resources than before. Makes you wonder what the long-term strategy is if we're stretched this thin. Hope it's just a temporary crunch and not a sign of deeper issues.

Interesting you bring this up. We've had a few 'efficiency' meetings lately that felt a bit like preamble to this exact situation. The pressure is definitely on to do more with less, and it's getting noticeable. Trying to keep spirits up, but it's tough when the workload keeps climbing without proportional support.
