GD - Is it just me or are people being asked to take on more responsibilities without title/pay changes?

Been at GD for a few years now, and lately it feels like the expectations are constantly shifting upwards. Projects seem to be getting more complex, and yet, the teams aren't really growing to match. Instead, it feels like individuals are being expected to absorb additional duties. I've seen colleagues taking on work that used to be handled by a senior person or even a whole different department, all without any formal recognition or bump in compensation. It's starting to feel like a constant 'do more with less' situation, but instead of it being a temporary push, it feels like the new normal. Anyone else experiencing this trend? Is this a company-wide thing, or is it specific to certain divisions or projects? Curious to hear if others are feeling this pressure and how you're navigating it.

I've noticed something similar. It seems the company's pushing for more efficiency, which often translates to fewer resources and more tasks on fewer people. While I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow, it's becoming a bit much when the workload significantly increases without any acknowledgment of that expanded role. It's a tough balancing act between being a team player and not burning out.

That's a fair observation. The landscape in defense is constantly evolving, and I think that puts pressure on all of us to adapt. While new challenges can be exciting, it's definitely disheartening when the extra effort doesn't seem to be reflected in compensation or job title. Hopefully, management recognizes this trend and addresses it before it impacts morale too much.
