GD - New project pipeline looking pretty anemic, anyone else?

Been with GD for a few years now, and I'm starting to get a weird vibe about new business. Usually, we're swimming in proposals and exciting new contracts, or at least hearing buzz about them. Lately, it feels like the new project pipeline is just… quiet. Like, really quiet. We're pushing hard on existing work, but the 'what's next' seems to be missing. Has anyone else on the defense side noticed a slowdown in the approval or awarding of new contracts or significant project expansions? Is leadership talking about any big wins on the horizon, or are we just going to be grinding on current stuff for the foreseeable future? Wondering if it's just my division or a broader trend.

I've definitely felt that too. It's almost like a drought compared to previous years. There's plenty of work to keep us busy on current programs, but the anticipation for the next big thing just isn't there. Makes you wonder if there's a strategic shift happening behind the scenes or if the market is just tightening up across the board. Hoping for some positive news soon.

My team's seeing it as well. The usual chatter about upcoming RFPs and potential wins has died down considerably. It's concerning when you look ahead; you want to see that robust pipeline to ensure long-term stability and growth. Perhaps the focus is more on optimizing existing contracts, but it's still a bit unsettling. Curious to hear if others are experiencing this across different divisions.
