GD - Performance reviews seem... different this year?

Hey all, has anyone else noticed a shift in the tone or emphasis during performance reviews lately? I usually go in expecting the usual "meet expectations" or "exceeds expectations" type feedback, but this year feels a bit more... scrutinizing? It's not necessarily negative, but there's a definite focus on "efficiency" and "resource optimization" that feels new. I'm wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if it's just my specific division. It's making me a little anxious about potential future changes, even though there haven't been any official announcements. Just trying to get a pulse on what others are experiencing.

Yeah, I've felt that too. My review was definitely more focused on metrics and how my work contributes to cost savings or efficiency gains. It wasn't a bad review, but the conversation definitely steered away from the more qualitative aspects of my contributions. It's almost like they're trying to quantify everything now. I'm curious if this is a standardizing effort across the company or just a new directive for certain departments. Definitely makes you think twice about how you frame your achievements.
