GD - Project funding seems shaky - concerns about future work?

So, I've been working on a particular program here at GD for a while, and lately, there have been some odd conversations happening. Project funding seems to be getting questioned more than usual, and there's talk about 're-prioritizing' certain efforts. It feels like budgets are being scrutinized much more closely than I've seen in the past. We're hearing a lot about efficiency and cost savings, which is fine, but it's starting to make me wonder about the long-term viability of some of the work we're doing. Has anyone else noticed this? Are other projects facing similar funding uncertainties or re-evaluation? It's not necessarily about immediate layoffs, but more about the strategic direction and whether certain areas might shrink or be phased out if funding continues to be an issue. Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide trend or just specific to my corner of GD. Any insights would be appreciated.
