GD - Quiet period for new initiatives, or just me?

Starting to get a weird vibe company-wide lately. It feels like everything's on pause. We used to have a constant stream of new projects kicking off, or at least discussions about them. Now, it feels like we're just… maintaining. My team's current projects are chugging along, but the pipeline for what comes next seems really empty. Anyone else seeing this? It's not just about layoffs directly, but this lack of forward momentum feels like a precursor to something. Is management being super conservative, or are we genuinely facing a dry spell in terms of new business? Curious if others are feeling this stagnation or if it's isolated to my division.

Yeah, I've been getting a similar feeling. It's like the big push for growth has definitely slowed, and there's a lot more focus on efficiency and hitting existing targets. Not necessarily a bad thing in the long run for stability, but it does make the day-to-day feel a bit stagnant. Hopefully, it's just a strategic pause and not a sign of bigger issues. The industry is competitive, so staying innovative is key, and I'm not seeing many sparks flying right now either.
