I've noticed something similar. It feels like there's a shift towards smaller, more agile projects, perhaps to de-risk things or get quicker wins. While it can be frustrating when you're used to larger, more complex endeavors, maybe it's a strategy to adapt to changing market demands or client expectations. It definitely requires a different mindset and approach to project management.
That's an interesting observation. I haven't seen a blanket reduction in scope personally, but I have seen some projects get re-baselined or broken down into phases more frequently. It could be a sign of increased competition leading to tighter bids, or perhaps a move towards demonstrating value more rapidly. Hard to say without more data, but I'm curious to hear if others are experiencing this across the board.
