General Dynamics - Morale Dip or Just Me?

Hey folks, been with GD for a few years now, and I gotta say, the vibe seems a little off lately. It's not anything concrete I can point to, no official announcements or anything. But there's this underlying current of... unease? Project timelines are getting tighter, some internal transfers have been put on hold, and there's a general sense of people watching their backs. I've heard whispers about budget reallocations and some programs being de-prioritized. Anyone else in GD noticing this? Is it just my division, or is this a company-wide thing? Trying to gauge if I'm overthinking it or if there's something more to it. Curious to hear what others are seeing and feeling across different GD business units.

I've been feeling something similar at my GD site too. It's subtle, but definitely there. Deadlines seem more aggressive than before, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in communication from upper management about future projects. It makes it hard to plan, and honestly, it breeds a bit of uncertainty. I'm hoping it's just a temporary phase related to market shifts or something similar, but it's definitely impacting the day-to-day atmosphere.

Yeah, the whispers about de-prioritized programs and budget shifts are definitely making rounds here as well. It's the kind of stuff that trickles down and creates a weird energy. People are trying to stay focused, but when you hear about potential reallocations, it's natural to feel a little on edge about your own role or project's future. Hope it's nothing serious and just standard business adjustments.
