Anyone else hearing whispers about restructuring at GMI?

Hey everyone, been with GMI for a few years now, mostly in a corporate role. Lately, there's been this undercurrent of 'optimizing' and 'streamlining' that feels a bit too familiar. We've had a couple of town halls where leadership talks about navigating the market and focusing on core brands, which is fine, but the vibe feels different. Fewer new projects kicking off, more talk about efficiency. I've seen a few people quietly update their LinkedIn profiles, which is usually a red flag, but no official announcements or even rumors of actual layoffs. Anyone else in other departments picking up on this? Is it just me or is the company tightening the belt more than usual? Wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger or just standard business cycle stuff. Curious to hear what others are seeing and feeling.

I've heard similar rumblings from friends who work in different divisions. The 'efficiency' talk definitely seems to be code for something more significant. It's unsettling when the corporate speak starts to overshadow actual work and employee morale. Hope whatever changes come are handled with transparency and respect for those affected.

Interesting to see this post. The focus on 'core brands' and 'navigating the market' has been pretty consistent in internal comms, but your observation about fewer new projects and the LinkedIn updates definitely adds a layer of concern. It's hard not to speculate when that kind of language starts to dominate.
