Hey folks, been at GM for a few years now and things feel... different lately. Usually, there's a steady stream of new initiatives and teams expanding, but it seems like hiring has slowed to a crawl. My department's been putting off backfilling some open roles, and new project proposals are getting put on the back burner for 'further review'. It's not just me noticing this either, heard similar chatter from folks in other divisions. Anyone else in a similar boat?
