Gilead's recent financial reports - any implications for jobs?

Just went through the latest earnings call transcript and financial reports for Gilead. While they're touting some successes, there are also areas that seem a bit shaky, especially with some of the older revenue streams. I'm not a finance expert by any means, but I'm trying to read between the lines. Does anyone who follows the company's financials more closely see anything that might signal a need for cost-cutting down the line? It's not about layoffs specifically, but more about how financial performance might influence future organizational structure or resource allocation. Trying to gauge the overall health and direction. Any thoughts from folks who have been through similar cycles at biotech companies would be appreciated.

The report showed decent growth in their oncology division, which is promising. However, you're right to question the older revenue streams. If those continue to decline significantly without strong replacements, it's not unreasonable to anticipate some portfolio reviews or strategic realignments, which can sometimes impact headcount in certain areas. It's always a delicate balance for large biopharmas navigating patent cliffs and pipeline development.
