I've worked at Globe Life for a while and I've seen these kinds of things before. Often it's just standard operational adjustments, maybe a budget review or a shift in strategic focus. Managers can be tight-lipped during these periods because information isn't finalized or they're under strict NDAs. Try not to read too much into it unless concrete news breaks. Keep your head down and focus on your work; usually, things shake out.
Interesting you mention that. I haven't directly felt it, but I've heard some whispers from colleagues in different branches. It's definitely creating a bit of an atmosphere of uncertainty. The lack of clear communication is the most unsettling part. It would be helpful if leadership provided more transparency, even if it's just acknowledging that things are being evaluated. Hope it's nothing major for everyone's sake.
