Globe Life - Management seems more stressed than usual

Is it just me, or have the higher-ups at Globe Life been looking incredibly stressed lately? I've noticed more impromptu all-hands meetings that are heavy on "doing more with less" and less on actual strategy. My direct manager has been cagey about Q4 targets, which is unusual. It's making people nervous, and honestly, it's hard not to speculate about what's driving this. No direct layoff talk, but the general vibe is tense. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on this shift in management's demeanor and if it correlates with anything they're hearing from leadership or their own teams. Trying to get a read on the overall sentiment.

I've definitely noticed a shift in energy around here lately. The 'do more with less' mantra feels louder than usual, and the lack of transparency around targets is unsettling. It's creating a general unease, and while I'm trying to stay focused on my work, it's hard to ignore the underlying tension. Hope it's just a temporary adjustment period.

I hear you. The increase in urgent, somewhat vague meetings and the cagey responses from leadership are definitely creating a buzz. My team is also feeling the pressure to ramp up productivity without clear direction. It’s leading to a lot of whispered conversations and speculation. Hopefully, management will offer more clarity soon to ease concerns.
