Globe Life - Performance reviews feeling harsher this year?

Just wrapped up my performance review and honestly, it felt way more critical than in previous years. My manager brought up a lot of points that seemed minor before, and the overall tone was much less about development and more about meeting stringent expectations. Some of the language used felt… final, if that makes sense. It wasn't a direct threat, but it definitely left me feeling a bit uneasy about job security. Has anyone else experienced a similar shift in how reviews are being conducted? Are they setting a different bar this year, or is it just me? Feels like they're really scrutinizing every little thing.
