Yeah, definitely hearing similar things across the industry, not just at Halliburton. The oil price volatility really forces everyone's hand on expenditures. It's understandable they'd tighten the purse strings to stay profitable, but it creates that uneasy feeling. Hopefully, it's just a cyclical thing and things pick up soon.
Interesting to hear from someone in a support role. We're seeing it in the field too, though it often manifests differently. Equipment downtime feels more critical, and there's less flexibility with ordering spares. The talk of budget cuts, even without direct layoffs, always makes folks look over their shoulders.
