Anyone else feeling the pressure at Halliburton right now?

Hey all, been with Hali for a few years now and things have felt... weird lately. Not hearing any official whispers, but there's definitely a different vibe in the air. Projects seem to be getting scrutinized more, and there's a general sense of 'watch your back.' Seeing a lot of senior folks looking anxious, and the usual camaraderie feels a bit strained. Anyone else in Operations or a similar department noticing this? Trying to gauge if it's just my specific location/team or if it's a wider thing. Starting to think about updating my resume just in case, but really hoping it doesn't come to that. Just want to see what others are hearing or feeling.

Yeah, I've been picking up on that too. It's subtle, but definitely there. Feels like the goalposts are shifting without anyone telling us. More meetings about efficiency and resource allocation, but less clear direction on what that actually means for day-to-day tasks. It's creating a lot of uncertainty, and honestly, it's making it hard to focus on the actual work when you're constantly wondering what the next 'scrutiny' might bring. Hopefully, it's just a temporary phase.

Totally get what you're saying. The atmosphere has definitely changed. Used to feel like a solid team, even through tough times. Now it's like everyone's walking on eggshells, and the coffee break chats aren't as open as they used to be. I've seen a few projects get put on hold unexpectedly, and the explanations are pretty vague. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Definitely not just your location, I'm hearing similar things from folks in other divisions.
