Anyone else notice a hiring freeze at H-Town?

Been trying to get into Halliburton for a couple of months now. Applied for several roles, got interviews for a couple, but things have really stalled out. Usually, after a second or third interview, I'd expect some kind of update, but it's been radio silence. My recruiter just says "we're still reviewing" which is the same generic line they've been giving for weeks. It feels like they've hit the brakes hard on hiring. Anyone else in the energy services space seeing this? Or is it specific to H-Town? Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just getting the runaround. It's frustrating because I was really optimistic about these roles.
