My team's workload is insane - anyone else at Hali swamped?

Seriously, my team at Halliburton has been absolutely buried for weeks. Projects are piling up, deadlines are getting tighter, and it feels like we're constantly chasing our tails. We've lost a couple of people over the last quarter (not through layoffs, just people moving on), and management hasn't backfilled those positions. So now, the rest of us are picking up the slack, and it's starting to get really unsustainable. I'm seeing burnout levels rise, and people are starting to look pretty stressed. It's the kind of workload that feels like it *should* trigger some kind of action – either more hiring or a re-evaluation of priorities. But nothing seems to be happening. Is anyone else experiencing this kind of pressure cooker environment? Are other departments seeing similar things? It makes me wonder if the company is deliberately running lean, or if there's some disconnect between the workload and the resources being allocated. Just trying to see if this is a widespread issue or if my specific group is an outlier.
