Lurking here for a while and noticed a lot of chatter about other insurance companies. I'm curious about The Hartford specifically. I've heard through the grapevine that some teams are slowing down hiring, but there haven't been any official announcements or widespread layoff news, which is a bit confusing. Is anyone in HR or management seeing a real hiring slowdown? Are certain departments being hit harder than others? It feels like a weird time – not outright layoffs, but a definite tightening. I've been hearing similar whispers. While there haven't been any official pronouncements about a hiring freeze, it definitely feels like things have slowed considerably in certain areas.
