Just saw the WARN notice hit the wires for the PA office. It looks like 124 people were caught in the wave this morning, March 24th. I’ve been hearing rumblings about overhead reduction for the last two quarters, but it still sucks to see it formalized like this. If you’re one of the folks impacted, I’m truly sorry—this industry is brutal right now and the timing is just cruel. Does anyone know if this is limited to the Philly footprint or if this is the start of a broader 'efficiency' push across the other hubs? My manager has been acting weird all week, lots of 'urgent' syncs being moved around. I’m honestly just trying to gauge if I should keep my head down or start cleaning up the resume tonight. I was in the Philly office when the news dropped today and the mood is absolutely gut-wrenching. It was definitely a shock seeing 124 people escorted out so quickly, even with the rumors circulating for months. Management kept their mouths shut until the very last second, which makes it feel even more cold and calculated. This efficiency push was inevitable given the performance targets they’ve been hammering us with lately. It’s a classic corporate play to trim the fat before the next quarter’s reporting, but it doesn't make it any less demoralizing for those of us left behind. It’s hard to stay focused when you’re looking over your shoulder wondering if you’re next on the list.
