Considering my options outside of The Hartford

Been at The Hartford for a while now and while it's been a decent ride, the last few months have really made me think about what's next. There's been so much talk and so little concrete action or communication regarding potential changes. It feels like we're in limbo. Management's messaging is a bit vague, and it's hard to plan for the future when you don't know what that future looks like. I've started updating my resume and casually browsing job boards, just to see what's out there. It's a shame because I do value some aspects of my role and the people I work with, but this constant uncertainty is draining. Anyone else actively looking or feeling the push to explore external opportunities due to the current atmosphere?

I hear you. The uncertainty has been really draining lately. It's tough when you're invested in a company and feel like leadership isn't being transparent about where things are headed. Keeping an eye on opportunities elsewhere seems like a smart move. It's always good to have a pulse on the market, especially when the internal outlook feels a bit cloudy. Hope you find something that offers more clarity and stability soon.

Totally understand the feeling. That sense of being in limbo, waiting for information that never quite materializes, is unsettling. It makes it hard to feel motivated or secure. Exploring other possibilities is a practical response to that kind of environment. Wishing you the best as you explore your options and hope you land somewhere that values clear communication and offers a more defined path forward.
