Here we go again: Philly cuts dropped this morning

It’s been a rough morning for the Philly team. Just saw the WARN notice go live for 124 people. I have a few friends in that office who haven't been able to log into their machines since 9 AM. The vibe is exactly what you’d expect—total radio silence from leadership, just a generic email about 'aligning resources for long-term growth.' We all know that's corporate-speak for 'we need to make the quarterly numbers look better for the shareholders.' It’s exhausting watching the same cycle play out every few months. Does anyone know if there are more waves coming, or are they done with the PA office for now? Really feeling for everyone caught in this. If you got a package, take the time you need to process it before signing anything. Hope everyone lands on their feet soon.

It feels like we are living through a never-ending cycle of restructuring at this point. I remember when they used to talk about company culture and valuing employees, but now it’s all just cold math to boost the stock price. It’s incredibly demoralizing to watch talented colleagues get locked out of their systems without so much as a real conversation. My department is constantly looking over our shoulders wondering who is next on the chopping block. At this rate, the institutional knowledge is going to evaporate entirely, and they won't even realize it until it's too late.

That 'aligning resources' line is absolute garbage. They’ve been using that same tired script for years, and it never gets any easier to stomach. I feel for everyone in Philly right now because the total lack of transparency from the top is the worst part. It’s not just about the headcount; it’s the way they treat people like disposable assets. If you’re still there, just make sure you’ve saved your personal contacts and updated your resume. This company stopped looking out for us a long time ago, so you definitely need to look out for yourself.
