The Hartford - Anyone else seeing changes in team structure?

Hey everyone, been at The Hartford for a few years now and lately, things feel... different. Been hearing whispers about reorganizations and team shuffles, especially in the claims and underwriting departments. It's not outright talk of layoffs, but more like a subtle restructuring that's making some people nervous. My manager is being really cagey about it, just saying it's 'efficiency improvements.' Anyone else in a similar boat? Trying to get a sense if this is widespread or just isolated incidents. Concerned about job security, but also just curious about the direction the company is heading. Is anyone in leadership willing to shed some light, or is this just the new normal?

I've noticed some similar rumblings on my end as well. It's that 'efficiency' buzzword that always makes me a bit uneasy. Seems like every few years, a lot of companies go through these periods of 'reorganization' and it usually means more work for fewer people, or at least a shift in responsibilities that nobody asked for. The lack of clear communication from management definitely adds to the anxiety. Hopefully, it's truly just about making things run smoother and not a precursor to something more drastic.

Yeah, same here, though maybe not quite as pronounced. We've had a few 'strategic alignment' meetings that felt like code for something bigger brewing. It's tough when leadership isn't upfront about what's happening. That uncertainty is the worst part. People start speculating, and that's never good for morale. Keep us posted if you hear anything more concrete. It's always helpful to know if others are experiencing the same thing.
