The Hartford - Anyone else seeing hiring freezes?

Hey all, been seeing a lot of chatter internally and some job postings disappearing or being put on hold at The Hartford. Nothing official, no WARN notices or anything like that, but the vibe feels like things are tightening up. My team's been told to hold off on backfills for a bit, and I know a couple of other departments are in a similar boat. Is this just a seasonal thing or are others picking up on more widespread hiring freezes? Wondering if management is bracing for impact or just managing headcount. Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift in the air at The Hartford lately. We haven't had a formal announcement, but there's a noticeable slowdown in the hiring process. Roles that would have been filled quickly a few months ago are now taking much longer, and some seem to have just vanished from the internal boards. My manager mentioned we need to be more strategic about any new hires needed, suggesting a more cautious approach. It's making some of us wonder about the company's outlook for the near future, especially with the current economic climate.
