The Hartford: Is it just me or is comp stagnant?

Hey everyone, been with The Hartford for a few years now in a mid-level role. I'm starting to feel like my salary isn't keeping up with inflation or industry standards, even with decent performance reviews. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm wondering if there's a general freeze on raises or if it's just my department. I've seen some posts about potential job cuts elsewhere, but nothing concrete here. It's making me nervous about long-term growth and compensation. Are people seeing significant bumps during review cycles, or is it mostly just a standard COLA? Thinking about whether it's time to start looking elsewhere if the comp isn't going to budge. Curious to hear what others are seeing or hearing, especially those in similar roles or tenure.

I hear you. It feels like The Hartford's compensation has been pretty flat for a while now, at least in my experience. My raises have been minimal, barely enough to cover the rising cost of living. I've been looking at industry benchmarks and it seems like we're falling behind. It's definitely a concern when you're trying to plan for the future. I'm curious if this is a company-wide issue or if some teams are faring better than others. The lack of clear communication about compensation strategy isn't helping either, just adds to the uncertainty.

I'm in a similar boat. My performance reviews are consistently good, but the pay increases don't really reflect that. It's frustrating to put in the extra effort and feel like it's not being recognized financially. I've noticed a general sense of belt-tightening around here, which might explain the stagnant comp. It makes you wonder about the company's overall financial health or strategic priorities. Hopefully, this isn't the new norm, because it's hard to stay motivated when you feel underpaid.
