Hilton: Observing some role consolidations lately?

Hey everyone, been at Hilton for a few years now and lately, my department has been absorbing tasks from other teams that seem to have... fewer people. It's subtle, not like a sudden announcement, but I've noticed a few long-term projects getting handed off, and the workload on remaining folks is definitely increasing. Anyone else seeing this pattern? Are there whispers about restructuring or efficiency drives? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or just isolated to my corner. It's making me a bit anxious, to be honest, wondering if this is a precursor to something bigger or just a normal operational shift. Any insights or similar observations would be appreciated. Trying to stay ahead of the curve if possible.

I've definitely felt a similar pressure here, though it's hard to pin down. It feels like the goal is to do more with less, and while efficiency is always good, the increased workload without additional resources is becoming noticeable. Some of the smaller, more specialized roles seem to have vanished, their duties absorbed by existing teams. It makes you wonder about the long-term strategy and whether it's sustainable.

Interesting observation. I haven't seen direct role consolidations in my area, but there's a definite sense of 'streamlining' happening. Projects that used to have dedicated teams are now being managed by fewer people, often with broader responsibilities.
