It is the same script every single quarter. They talk about record-breaking innovation and market leadership while gutting the teams that actually keep the lights on. The 'do more with less' mantra is just a polite way of saying they want to squeeze every drop of productivity out of us before showing us the door. It is absolutely gut-wrenching to see people let go right before the holidays. The trust is completely gone, and honestly, why should anyone be surprised at this point? They care about the stock price, not the people who built the product.
I have been watching the internal messaging for months, and it feels like we are living in two different companies. When leadership stands on that stage talking about growth and synergy, they are either completely delusional or just outright lying to us. Losing 86 colleagues right before Christmas is a slap in the face. It is clear that we are just numbers on a spreadsheet to them, completely disposable whenever a margin needs a slight adjustment. I am exhausted from the performative positivity when the reality of working here has become so incredibly toxic.
