Hologic - Anyone else's team seeing hiring freezes?

Noticed a few requisitions I was expecting to see posted haven't materialized. My manager's been cagey when I ask about backfills for folks who've left, just saying 'we're evaluating needs'. Feels like a soft freeze is in place. Is this happening elsewhere in Hologic? Wondering if it's a company-wide thing or just specific departments feeling the pinch. Trying to gauge the overall health of the company. If hiring is slowing down across the board, it might be an indicator of bigger issues down the line. Any insights from other divisions would be super helpful.

Yes, my department is definitely feeling it. We had a few roles open up that have now been put on hold indefinitely. My manager is being very tight-lipped about the situation, just saying they're re-evaluating budgets. It's definitely creating some concern about workload and future growth within the company. Hopefully, it's a temporary situation and not a sign of deeper financial trouble.
