The atmosphere in Danbury is suffocating right now. Watching colleagues walk out with boxes while leadership hides behind empty jargon about 'operational efficiency' is just demoralizing. They knew exactly how this would ruin the holidays for those families, yet they pushed it through anyway. It’s hard to focus on anything when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder waiting for the next round of cuts. This company has completely lost its way, and the trust is essentially gone for anyone remaining in this building. Q1 is going to be a bloodbath if things don't change fast.
Honestly, the 'restructuring' narrative was always a smokescreen for the inevitable. It’s brutal for the 86 people affected, but anyone surprised hasn't been paying attention to the way management has been moving lately. The toxicity is coming from the top down, and those of us left are just fodder for the next spreadsheet adjustment. If you’re still there, start updating your resume now instead of waiting for the Q1 axe to fall. It’s just business to them, so treat your tenure exactly the same way.
