Anyone else feeling the pinch at Home Depot?

Been with HD for a few years now, mostly in operations. Lately, the vibe has been... tense. We've lost a few people here and there, not a mass exodus or anything official, but definitely a noticeable reduction in headcount across different departments and even some stores. Management's been tight-lipped, saying it's 'restructuring' or 'efficiency improvements.' Feels like a lot of extra work is being pushed onto the remaining staff. My department is already stretched thin, and I'm worried about what's coming next. Anyone else seeing similar trends or hearing anything concrete? Just trying to get a sense if this is a company-wide thing or just my specific region. Curious if anyone in other roles (merchandising, IT, corporate) are experiencing this too. Is it just retail slowing down, or is something specific happening at HD? Trying not to panic, but the quiet departures are making me a little uneasy.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a shift. It's not just the feeling of more work, but the overall atmosphere seems less… stable? Associates seem a bit more stressed, and there's a definite undercurrent of uncertainty when you ask about the future. Been buying a lot of my DIY supplies there for years, and while the selection is still top-notch, the customer service interactions have felt a bit rushed lately. Hope things settle down soon for everyone working there.
