Anyone else nervous about Q4 performance?

The vibe in my store is getting a little tense. Customer traffic seems down, and honestly, people are spending less when they do come in. We're pushing credit apps and protection plans harder than ever, but it feels like we're fighting a losing battle. Saw some of the corporate folks doing walkthroughs last week, and they looked pretty serious. Makes me wonder if they're starting to get concerned about numbers. Haven't heard any direct layoff talk, but the general atmosphere is making me anxious. Anyone else feeling this way, or am I just overthinking it? Curious to hear what others are hearing or sensing.

Yeah, I've felt that tension too. My store's been the same way – customers seem hesitant to open their wallets, and even the regulars are being way more selective with their purchases. Pushing those add-ons feels a bit desperate, doesn't it? It's hard not to get a little worried when you see management looking stressed. Hoping for a last-minute holiday rush, but fingers crossed it's enough.

It's definitely a mixed bag out there. While some days are surprisingly busy, others feel like crickets. We're all trying to stay positive and focus on what we can control, like customer service and getting those sales through. The corporate visits do add a bit of pressure, but hopefully, it's just standard procedure and not a sign of something worse. Let's just hope the holiday season surprises everyone.
