Benefits question - worth it for part-timers?

Hi all, I'm a part-timer at Home Depot and I'm trying to figure out if the benefits package is actually worth it for someone who isn't working full-time hours. I know we get access to health insurance, but the premiums seem pretty high when I look at the details. I'm relatively healthy, so I'm weighing the cost against the actual need. Anyone here who has experience with the part-time benefits at HD? Did you sign up for health insurance? Are there other perks I might be overlooking that make it a good deal even with fewer hours? Just trying to make an informed decision before open enrollment comes around again. Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, I'd scrutinize those premium costs very carefully. If you're young and generally healthy, paying a significant chunk for insurance you might rarely use feels like a tough sell. Make sure you understand exactly what the plan covers and what the out-of-pocket maximums are. Sometimes there are other benefits like tuition reimbursement or discounts on tools/supplies that can add up, but for just health insurance, it might not be the best deal if the premiums are steep.
