HD Salary - Am I leaving money on the table?

Hey all, wondering about salary ranges at Home Depot. I'm in a management role (overseeing a department) and have been with the company for about 5 years. While I generally like my job and the benefits are decent, I've been seeing some job postings for similar roles elsewhere that seem to offer significantly higher compensation. I've had a couple of performance reviews that were solid, and I've taken on more responsibility over the years. Is it common for HD to be behind on market rate for salaries, or am I just not pushing hard enough during reviews? Any advice on how to approach salary discussions effectively or what others in similar positions are making would be super helpful. Trying to figure out if it's worth exploring other opportunities or if I can negotiate a better package here.

It's definitely worth looking into! Market rates can shift, and it's smart to ensure your compensation reflects your experience and the responsibilities you've taken on. Have you tried comparing your current salary to data from sites like Glassdoor or Salary.com specifically for your role and location? Sometimes a direct conversation with HR about market research can be productive, especially if you have a strong performance history. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself.

That's a common concern across many industries right now. Retail management roles can vary a lot in pay depending on the company and region. If you're seeing significant discrepancies elsewhere, it might be a good idea to gather concrete data on what similar positions pay in your area. Having that information can help you approach your manager or HR with a well-reasoned case for a salary review, especially given your tenure and expanded duties.
