Just venting: So tired of the lack of communication...

I'm so fed up with the constant corporate BS. Every time there's a hint of something changing, we're the last to know. We're just left to speculate and stress out. It's always 'company policy' this, 'confidential information' that. If they were transparent with us, maybe we wouldn't be so anxious all the time. My mental health has been in the toilet lately, just constantly worrying about whether my job is safe. I bust my butt every day, and the least they could do is be upfront with us. Ugh, rant over.

I feel you. It's the same at my store. The rumor mill is always churning, and it's usually worse than the reality. I try to focus on what I can control: showing up on time, doing my job well, and not getting sucked into the gossip. Easier said than done, I know, but it's helped me stay sane-ish. Maybe start looking at other options? Sometimes just knowing you have a plan B can ease the stress.

Honestly, what company ISN'T like that? They're a business, not a family. They'll tell you what they *want* you to know, and that's usually it. Getting upset about it is just going to make things worse. Best to just clock in, do your job, and collect your paycheck. Expecting anything else is just setting yourself up for disappointment.
