I've definitely noticed a shift over the past year or so. It feels like the focus has really narrowed, and there's less room for the camaraderie that used to make working here enjoyable. The constant pressure and lack of clear communication about big-picture stuff definitely adds to the anxiety. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're just a cog in a machine, and nobody's explaining why the machine is doing what it's doing.
Yeah, the uncertainty is the worst. It makes it hard to plan, and frankly, it makes it hard to feel secure. I've been trying to keep my head down and do my job, but the whispers and worried looks don't help. Hoping things stabilize soon, but honestly, it feels like a widespread issue, not just isolated to one or two stores. Just trying to stay positive and focus on the customers.
