Honeywell - Hiring freeze whispers across departments?

Been hearing some chatter lately, nothing concrete yet, but it feels like things are slowing down on the hiring front. Some of my colleagues in different departments mentioned that requisitions are being put on hold or taking way longer than usual to get approved. Has anyone else noticed this? Are teams not backfilling open positions? Wondering if this is a company-wide thing or just isolated incidents. Makes you wonder what's coming down the pipeline. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the vibe is definitely shifting. Anyone have any inside scoop or seen similar patterns?

I've been feeling it too. It's not just your department. We've had a few critical roles open for months, and the approval process feels like wading through molasses. It definitely creates a sense of unease when you see positions staying vacant for so long. Management seems tight-lipped about it, which only adds to the speculation. Hopefully, it's just a temporary slowdown and not a sign of bigger issues ahead, but it's hard not to worry a bit.
