Honeywell - Performance reviews and goal setting feel different this year...

Hey all, just wanted to see if anyone else is picking up on a shift in how performance reviews and goal setting are being handled at Honeywell lately? It feels like the usual process is a bit... more intense? Or maybe just less clear on what success looks like. My manager's been talking a lot about 'strategic alignment' and 'driving impact' in ways that feel a little vague. Are they just rolling out new corporate jargon, or is there something else going on? With no official word on anything, it's hard not to overthink these subtle changes. Anyone else feeling this? Curious if it's just my department or a broader thing across the company. Getting a bit of a weird vibe, honestly.

I've noticed something similar in my department. It feels like there's more emphasis on metrics that are hard to quantify, or at least, the link between day-to-day tasks and these grander 'strategic alignments' isn't always obvious. My team has been trying to decipher the new buzzwords too, and it's leading to some confusion about how to actually demonstrate progress effectively. Hopefully, there will be more clarity soon, because right now, it feels like we're all just trying to hit moving targets without a clear map.
