Honeywell - Rumblings of restructuring in some divisions?

Hey everyone, Been with Honeywell for a few years now, and lately, there's been a lot of chatter in the hallways (and on Teams chats) about potential organizational changes. It's not a 'layoff announcement' per se, but more like whispers about 'streamlining operations' and 'realigning focus.' Some teams seem to be under a microscope, with managers talking about 'optimizing resources' and 'talent assessments.' It's making people a bit nervous, especially since hiring seems to have slowed down significantly across the board. Anyone else in different parts of Honeywell experiencing similar vibes? Is this leading to any actual headcount reductions, or is it just management speak for something else? Curious to hear what others are hearing or seeing.

I've heard similar whispers from my end. It's definitely creating some uncertainty, especially when there's no clear communication. 'Optimizing resources' can mean a lot of things, and not all of them are positive for the folks on the ground. Hope it's just a temporary adjustment period and not something more widespread.

Yeah, the 'streamlining' talk is definitely going around. It's tough to navigate when you're not sure what it means for your day-to-day. My team is trying to stay focused on our projects, but it's hard to ignore the background hum of potential changes. Fingers crossed it leads to better efficiency without too much disruption.
