Honeywell - Seeing a lot of 'hustle' culture talk lately

Hey all, been at Honeywell for a few years now and noticed a real uptick in conversations about 'maximizing efficiency' and 'driving results' across the board. It's kind of unnerving, especially with how things have been globally. Feels like there's a lot of pressure to prove your value, even if you're hitting all your targets. Projects seem to be getting re-evaluated more frequently, and there's a lot of emphasis on quick wins. Is anyone else feeling this shift? It's making me a bit antsy about where things are headed, especially without any concrete news. Just feels like the vibe has changed, and not necessarily for the better. Trying to stay focused but it's hard when you hear these buzzwords constantly.

I've been with Honeywell for a while too and definitely feel that shift. It's like the goalposts are always moving, and even when you're performing well, there's this underlying current of needing to do *more*. The 'quick win' focus can sometimes feel like it detracts from longer-term strategic thinking, which is a shame. Makes you wonder where the company's priorities truly lie beyond the buzzwords.

Yeah, that 'hustle' talk is definitely present. I've noticed it too. It can create a stressful environment if not managed carefully. My take is that while efficiency is important, it shouldn't come at the expense of employee well-being or genuine innovation. I hope leadership is mindful of striking a balance so people don't burn out chasing phantom metrics.
