Just checking in to see if anyone else at Hormel is feeling the pressure lately. The last earnings call didn't exactly inspire confidence, and with inflation and supply chain issues still lingering, I'm starting to get a little anxious. I know there haven't been any direct layoffs announced, but I've noticed a hiring freeze in some areas and a general slowdown in new projects. Makes you wonder what's on the horizon. Anyone in product development or marketing notice any significant shifts in strategy or budget? Or those in operations, seeing any changes in production demands? Trying to stay optimistic, but the current economic climate is hard to ignore. Just looking to connect with others who might be feeling the same way and share any observations, without getting into specifics that could identify individuals, of course.
