Hey everyone, been lurking for a bit but wanted to throw something out there. Things have felt...off at Hormel lately. Not hearing concrete layoff news, but there's definitely a general unease. Budgets seem tighter, some projects are on hold, and there's a lot of quiet chatter about 'optimizing resources.' Anyone else picking up on this? Is it just my department or is this a company-wide thing? Curious to hear what others are experiencing, especially in different divisions. Trying to gauge if this is a temporary blip or something more significant. Don't want to jump to conclusions, but the general sentiment seems to be one of caution. Any insights would be appreciated.

Definitely picking up on the same vibe. My team's been feeling the pinch too – budgets are way tighter than they were even six months ago, and a few initiatives we were excited about have been put on the back burner. There's talk about efficiency drives, but it feels more like belt-tightening than strategic growth. It's hard not to feel a bit unsettled when things shift so noticeably. Hope it's just a temporary phase and not indicative of bigger issues down the line.
