Hey everyone, long-time Howmet employee here. Been with the company for a few years and lately, I've been getting a weird vibe. It feels like things are getting tighter financially. I'm hearing about budget freezes in certain departments, hiring seems to have slowed to a crawl, and there's been a general sense of 'belt-tightening' that wasn't as pronounced before. Is anyone else picking up on this? It's not just my department either, I've spoken to folks in other areas and they're seeing similar things. No official announcements, of course, but the signals are there. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just overthinking it. Anyone else have any insights or heard anything similar? Trying not to panic, but it's hard not to notice the shifts.

Yeah, I'm definitely seeing it too. It's not just the hiring freeze, but also the pressure to make existing resources stretch further.
