Is Howmet quietly cutting headcount?

Posting anonymously because, well, you know. Been at Howmet for a while and lately the vibe has shifted. We're not seeing any official 'pink slips' flying around, but the attrition seems higher than usual and headcount isn't being backfilled in a lot of areas. Project scopes seem to be shrinking, and there's a definite push to 'do more with less.' I've seen some internal job postings that look suspiciously like people from other teams moving into slightly different, but essentially the same, roles after their original ones disappeared. It's creating a lot of uncertainty, and people are definitely nervous. Is anyone else seeing this trend? Feels like management is trying to avoid the optics of layoffs while still trimming the fat. Curious if others are feeling the squeeze or if it's just my neck of the woods.
