Anyone else getting the cold shoulder from leadership?

So the WARN notice for Freeburg dropped and it’s like management turned into ghosts. I’ve reached out to my manager twice this week to ask if our team is impacted by the broader restructuring, and I’m getting nothing but canned HR responses about 'operational synergy' and 'streamlining for 2025.' It’s incredibly insulting. We’ve been busting our backs for the last three quarters, hitting every target they set, and now we’re just another line item in an Excel sheet. Does anyone know if there’s a severance package on the table for those of us in the non-unionized roles, or are they just going to pull the rug out with zero notice? It feels like the writing is on the wall for the rest of us, and honestly, the silence is louder than the announcement itself. I’m already dusting off the resume because I refuse to be blindsided. Anyone else in a different department feeling the same pressure?

The silence from leadership at Freeburg is deafening, but unfortunately, it’s classic Hubbell. They’ve been leaning into the 'synergy' buzzwords for months while they quietly shuffle the deck chairs. Don't expect a straight answer from your manager—they’ve likely been told to stay tight-lipped or they don't actually know themselves. Start updating your resume tonight and look into local labor laws regarding the WARN act. Assume the worst-case scenario and protect your own interests, because the company certainly isn’t looking out for yours right now.

It is honestly disgusting how they treat people who have been driving the company's success all year. I went through a similar process last round and learned the hard way that HR's 'operational alignment' script is just a polite way of saying your position is on the chopping block. If they aren't giving you a clear answer, they are already finalizing the transition plans. Document everything, save your performance records offline, and stop breaking your back for them. You’re just a variable in their 2025 calculation, so treat this like the business arrangement it is and move on.
