Hubbell - Are roles changing significantly?

Lately, it feels like the goalposts for our roles are constantly moving. I've noticed more responsibilities being piled onto existing positions without any corresponding title or pay adjustment. At the same time, some specialized roles seem to be less emphasized, almost like they're being phased out subtly. It's not a full-blown layoff situation that I'm aware of, but the landscape is definitely shifting. Makes it hard to plan career growth or even just understand where the company is heading long-term. Anyone else feel like their day-to-day work or career path at Hubbell is becoming less defined or more precarious?

I've been feeling this too. It's like they expect us to be unicorns, capable of doing three jobs for the price of one. The lack of clarity on career paths is frustrating, and honestly, it makes me question my long-term commitment here. It's not just you; a lot of people I talk to feel like they're treading water without a clear direction.

Interesting observations. I've seen some shifts myself, though maybe not as pronounced. It's true that some specialized areas feel less prioritized, which is a bit concerning for those of us with those skill sets. I'm trying to stay adaptable, but you're right, it's hard to get a solid read on where things are truly headed long-term under these circumstances.
