Hubbell - Post-merger integration thoughts?

With the recent acquisitions (or maybe it was last year?), I'm curious how the integration is actually going on the ground. My experience has been okay, but there are definitely pockets where things feel disjointed. Different systems, different processes, and honestly, some lingering 'us vs. them' mentality between legacy Hubbell folks and the new teams. Has anyone found their role significantly impacted, either positively or negatively, by these changes? Are we seeing any new opportunities arise, or is it mostly just… reshuffling? Just trying to get a sense of how smoothly (or not) this is all playing out.

Integration is definitely a mixed bag. Some departments seem to have streamlined things beautifully, adopting new platforms and processes with minimal friction. However, I've also seen teams struggling with outdated systems that weren't fully retired, leading to duplicate data entry and confusion. The 'us vs. them' vibe is sadly still present in some areas, which hinders true collaboration. I'm hoping for more cross-training initiatives to bridge these gaps and foster a unified culture.

I've noticed some positive shifts, particularly in increased investment in R&D which is exciting. New opportunities have definitely opened up for those willing to adapt and learn the new systems. The challenge lies in the pace of change; it can be overwhelming when multiple new tools and workflows are introduced simultaneously. Communication from leadership about the 'why' behind these changes could be more consistent to help alleviate some of the uncertainty many are feeling.
